Pregnancy for women of today is safer than ever and we are little bit spoilt of information infact we are probably in a stage of information overload. There are great websites out there, and so many really good ones. But how do you tell the good from the bad? Well that's the key isn't it? Who has time to sift through all the sites when you google things, then work out whether it relates to your situation or not?
Although having a baby is a worldly eperience it also helps to find local sites so you are more familar with the language. For example US terms medical doctors that specialise in expectant mothers and childbirth as 'OBGYN' where as Australians tend to use terms like midwives, obstetrian or a pediatrician.Simple things like language can make all the difference when you are trying to relate to a website and get the required information.
When I first started researching cloth nappy information I was and still am a little scared of 'forum speak' with all its abbreviations because unless you are regular forum user you'd have no idea what terms like "IMHO" (In My Humble Opinion) and "BRB" (Be Right Back) and many, many others actually are! There is also a cloth nappy speak also and I have written out the various abbreviations you may come across in the;
