Great Baby Websites were the initial inspiration for this website as I've talked about in the About GKW pages.

For anyone that's planning to have a little one, is pregnant or has a bub, great infant sites are a parenting paradise.

Little bundles of joy can cover a broad spectrum of needs and wants from clothing and funiture to growing stages to the all important infant health.

There are many things to consider when having a child including whether to return to work or become a stay at home mother. Unfortunately financial considerations need to be made even before bubs comes along as you could spend a years salary on baby equipment!But don't lose hope as there are many ways around it if you are a little tight on cash.Many friends and relatives will happily give away baby things or are happy to recommend particular brands.

Another scary trap is to buy into the marketing that having a newborn brings, thinking that you need all of the gadjets when really you can get away with half or even a quarter of the things that are out there.Some books recommend waiting until the last 3 months before buying but I think this advise alone is terrible as we at our most vunerable stage by then.I know I would have got a second mortgage on the house if I could have just to get the latest and greatest of well..everything in my last trimester!
